AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE - WEDNESDAY

Our monster Wednesday night season of 6 a side in Axminster continued last night with week 14 of 22. 

All 5 of the league toppers picked up wins as the table starts to space out a bit. Next season we will have two divisions with promotion and relegation each season so those wanting to be in the prem will need to be in the top 6 when this season finishes.

Any teams looking to join this league can be added to our waiting list and the £25 joining fee includes your 1st game when you do get a place.

We saw some decent games last night although most were a bit one sided, underlying the need for two divisions here, Nice to Michu won 5 - 1 over 6 A Cider, two goals each from Jordan Fowler and Jacob enough to take the points. Farmers Weekly were too strong for Winsham Utd, securing top spot for another week with a 10 - 3 win. Gavin Herrod the main goal scorer with 4. Chards Chopsys had two goals from Will and one each from Chris Warry and Cam Bound to thank for their 4 - 1 win over Vikings and Portsmuff edged a tight one against NYC FC, Sam Bond and Harry Clifford on target in the 2 - 1 win for them. 2 Goals 1 Cup stay 4th after their 5 - 0 win over The Roys, Jack White and Will with 2 a piece while Uplyme & Sinker were the biggest winners on the night, coming away with an 11 - 0 score line against LR Dons. Simon Smith netting 5 along with 2 for Trish and one each for Rich Pearce and Mike Ditchfeild.

So another exciting night concludes and as always its a huge thank you to the team of officials on the night, Lance, Simon and Ethan who do a brilliant job every week for us.
