The Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side Football League saw some intense action in week 11, with some high-scoring matches keeping us on the edge of our seats. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Staro FC dominated Ansu Fatties with an impressive 8-1 victory, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their position as serious contenders again this season.

In another high voltage match, Farmers Weekly outclassed SCP_FC with a 4-2 victory. Despite a hard-fought battle from SCP_FC, Farmers Weekly held their ground, demonstrating their tactical superiority and strong team spirit.

Meanwhile, Nice To Michu made a powerful statement by defeating Vikings FC 8-2. The team's superior ball retention and a well-executed strategy led them to a convincing victory, leaving Vikings FC to re-strategize for their upcoming matches.

Perhaps the most one-sided game of the week was between The Deans and Uplyme & Sinker, with the latter delivering a stunning 6-0 victory. Uplyme & Sinker gave no room for The Deans to make a comeback, showing their dominance in both attack and defence as they edge towards the title.

The highlight of the week was the phenomenal performance of Alex Wheatley, who single-handedly led Uplyme & Sinker to victory by scoring a whopping 5 goals. His outstanding performance not only kept his team top but also crowned him as the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

Week 11 of the Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side Football League in the Premier League division was undoubtedly filled with thrilling matches, stunning goals, and stellar individual performances. As teams prepare for the upcoming matches, we can look forward to more exciting and high-spirited games.
