In a thrilling week of the Axminster Wednesday Football League, we witnessed a slew of high-octane matches that culminated in nail-biting finishes. This was week 3 of the season, and teams in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out on the pitch in a series of intense matches.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, champions Uplyme & Sinker were narrowly defeated by Farmers Weekly, 3-2. The game was a showcase of skill and stamina, with Farmers Weekly clutching a close victory. In another gripping encounter, Parsleys Army edged out Vikings FC 4-3. Ayrton White from Parsleys Army emerged as the star player of the division, scoring a staggering 3 goals to lead his team to victory. Nice To Michu and Green FC locked horns in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw, a testament to the fierce competition in the league.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Roy's romped home to victory against Anchors Away with a comfortable 5-2 margin. The Deans, however, suffered a heavy 10-1 defeat at the hands of The Six Offenders, in what can only be described as a masterclass performance from the latter. The Six Offenders' Josh was the standout player, scoring an impressive 6 goals. Honiton Athletic also secured a win against Ansu Fatties with a 3-1 scoreline.
