Axminster Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 7

Last night marked the seventh week of the exhilarating Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side football league. The tension was palpable as teams battled it out in the prestigious Premier League division.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the first game of the evening, Nice To Michu triumphed over Ansu Fatties with a tight score of 2-0. The match was a robust display of the skill and tenacity that has come to characterise the Premier League division.

The next match saw a thrilling match between SCP_FC and The Deans. Despite a gripping performance from both teams, The Deans emerged victorious, edging out SCP_FC with a close 3-2 win. The game was a testament to the grit and determination each team brings to the pitch every week.

Champions Staro FC, taking on Uplyme & Sinker, couldn't quite sink their teeth into the game. Uplyme & Sinker winning the match, sailing to a 5-2 victory over Staro FC. It was a high-octane encounter with Uplyme & Sinker demonstrating their excellent form this season.

In the other game, Farmers Weekly delivered a stunning performance, defeating Vikings FC with a resounding 6-1 victory. This match saw the rise of a new hero - Darren Andrews who emerged as the top scorer of this week’s Premier League division. Andrews, representing Farmers Weekly, scored a great hat-trick, stamping his mark on the game and leaving an indelible impression on us all.

As we come to the end of the seventh week, each team in the Premier League division has shown the spirit, skill, and enthusiasm that make 6-a-side football such a captivating spectacle. We look forward to more enthralling matches in the weeks to come.
