Axminster Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 8

In an adrenaline-fueled night of football, the eighth week of the Axminster Wednesday League saw some stunning performances across the Premier League and Division 1. With just two weeks left of the season, teams are battling it out to secure their places in their respective divisions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Uplyme & Sinker emerged victorious in a tight contest against Farmers Weekly, with a final score of 2-0. This was followed by a thrilling showdown between Vikings FC and Parsleys Army, with Parsleys Army clinching the win 4-2. Green FC and Nice To Michu also had a head-to-head, with Nice To Michu coming out on top, winning 4-2. Finlay Downes of Green FC was the standout player in the division, showcasing his scoring prowess with a total of 2 goals.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, Division 1 had its share of exhilarating action. Anchors Away secured a nail-biting 5-4 victory against The Roy's, thanks in large part to the scoring sensation, Zak Harrison, who netted an impressive five goals. The Six Offenders dominated The Deans with a 4-1 win while Honiton Athletic pulled off a narrow 1-0 triumph over Ansu Fatties.

As we near the end of the season, the stakes continue to rise, with every match playing a crucial role in setting the stage for the next season.
