In the heart of Axminster last night, local footballers were treated to a thrilling second week of action in the Axminster Wednesday 6 a side Football League.
In the Premier League, Farmers Weekly had an entertaining match with current champiuons, Nice to Michu, ending in a 2-2 draw. In another high-stakes match, Firing Blanks FC demonstrated their prowess on the pitch with an impressive 5-2 win over Green FC. Jordan Fowler, emerged as the star player in the Premier League, netting two goals for Nice to Michu, and securing his position as the current top scorer in the division.
Meanwhile, Division 1 also witnessed its fair share of action. Ansu Fatties had a resounding 10-1 victory over The Deans, showcasing their dominance in the early stages of the campaign.
