EXCITING CHANGES - LONGER GAMES

After all your feedback and comments over the last week we have decided to make some changes to the Wednesday night league:

1. Games will be 40 minutes long 

2. There will be no 'area' rule - Players will be allowed in the area and allowed to score in the area. Keepers will not be allowed to leave the area. Keepers can still pick it up from a backpass and it must still touch 2 players before returning to the keeper. The keeper can still only distribute it with an underarm thrown

3. As a result of the increased game time, and the fact we will need extra pitches/referees the match fees will need to be increased to cover these costs. The new match fee will be £30.

These changes will take effect from the start of the new season (6th September).

The first season will be a trial of the changes - if they work and are a success we will keep them. Please keep me posted on your thoughts and please spread the word across your players.
