League hotting up as we approach the final third

Another great example of 6 a side football on show here at Axminster and the lads gave their all and produced some great football and overall 4 very closely fought matches.

Andy's Diamondz were taken to the limit however did show their character and winning mentality to get themselves over the line in a 3-2 thriller that saw a very spirited performance from a talented NYC FC side. HFC Raiders kept up the pressure on the leaders with a convincing victory over The Roy's but it was not all plain sailing and The Roys certainly had their part to play in this fixture. It is certainly all set up for a cracking game next week between the top 2 sides that could set up some finale!

The Viking have not managed to build on their brilliant start to the season and were beaten in another close match by Yarcombe who themselves only managed their 2nd win of the season but will no doubt use this as a spring board to climb the table.

Finally it was the turn of Uplyme & Sinker to quietly go about their business and get themselves now in contention to challenge the top 2. A 2-0 victory over Farmers weekly sees them leapfrog their opponents into 3rd place.
