WEDNESDAY NIGHT 6 A SIDE - AXMINSTER

We reach the mid way point of this monster season in Axminster as our Wednesday Night 6 a side league continues to be hard fought and incredibly tight at the top. We have 6 teams separated by just 3 pts with some key matches just around the corner so it's going to be an exciting time over the next few months.

Farmers Weekly still lead by a point despite having been held to a 2 - 2 draw against Portsmuff who sit 5th but are very much in the title race themselves.  Chards Chopsys are 2nd following a 5 - 0 win against Nice to Michu and hattricks from Harry Nelson and Simon Smith gave Uplyme & Sinker the points in their game with Winsham Utd. The 9 - 2 win moving them up to 3rd while Winsham still hunt for that illusive 1st win of the season. LR Dons and 6 A Cider played out an entertaining 2 - 2 draw and The Roys had a great night, sticking 10 past Vikings, thanks in part to four goals from Dave.

Will this season remain tight all the way through or will a couple of teams break away at the top ? It's going to be brilliant finding out over the next few months.
