Aylesbury Vale Academy is back to playing 6 a side football on consecutive weeks again and things are looking about as good as they could be ever since we managed to extend the league into 2 division.

All teams are keen to get the start of their seasons off to a flying start and we have seen some VERY competitive matches now that we have a clear divide in quality.

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Shane Schlong will be claiming the weekly accolade after getting their first win of the season in a well fought 3-1 victory against their last seasons rivals. This win now pulls them up out of the relegation zone and gets them fighting for the league title. With only 2 games played, the end of season awards are of course all to play for but these guys know the quality of their team, so this win was massive for them.

Thomas Ludlow - Shane Schlong - Thomas put in a masterclass performance on Monday night and gave the referee only one option for MOTM in his game. he really was on a different level!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Buy the dip are another team that got their first league win off the mark in a really well fought 4-1 victory. These guys would have been very pleased with this performance and I'm sure can use this as momentum to keep going and maybe get themselves onto a winning run next week. This was of course their best performance to date and one they can use to build with for the remainder of the season!

Ben Philbey - Lads on toure - Ben was in top form for his team on Monday night and really was almost solely responsible for his team win. This was was the beast at the back and I'm sure very frustrating to play against
