END OF SEASON AWARDS!
PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
They did it, they left it until the last game of the season but Man Dem some how managed to claim the league champions position! If we are honest with ourselves, they definitely did deserve the top spot, but they certainly didn’t do it the easy way. A very well fought season kept them at the top end of the league table but other results on the final day going in their favour ensured that they claim the league champions position!
PREMIER LEGAUE RUNNERS UP!
Now this position is one that isn't so simple. The league table shows that Youngs boys came runners up, BUT these guys actually inherited top of the league position and only played 3 games, so in order to be fair, we actually decided to allow MBW to claim themselves as runners up by default. Its not the dramatic ending that we would all like, but hopefully giving them the taste of the top end of the league will inspire them to do it legit next season...
PREMIER LEGAUE GOLDEN BOOT!
Jordan from Man Dem also left it until the last day to claim his award, beating his team mate by just 2 goals. Of course it always helps to win the league is you’ve got all 4 top spots of the golden boot leader board in your team. Jordan though with another outstanding season in front of goal to be crowned the Premier leagues’s most profile goal scorer!
DIVISION ONE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
Never in doubt with these guys. A huge debut season with 14 wins out of 14 to score the maximum of 28 points and with a huge goal difference of plus 56, these guys no doubt get promoted up into the top division, where I'm sure they will very much hold their own, possibly even title contenders. Im sure they will be looking to finish very high next season and really push themselves in the top division!
DIVISION ONE RUNNERS UP!
Overweight Fc managed to claim the runners up position this season and very convincingly so, finishing 3 points above their nearest rivals in 3rd place. These guys have very much been worthy of runners up, consistently showing us so some very impressive performances and some equally impressive scorelines throughout the season. Can they go one step further next season and take the title?
DIVISION ONE GOLDEN BOOT!
It was a highly fought award all season long and was again, only decided on the last day of the season when the winner - Jordan Fishlock, banged another 5 past the keeper. Let’s break down Jordans scoring season- He managed to find the back of the net 30 times in 14 games! Even IF Jordan attended every single game, every single week, that gives him an average of just over 2 goals EVERY SINGLE game. Unbelievable!
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER!
This guy has been tearing it up throughout the season for his team and has been going head to head with our golden boot winner for both individual awards. He has managed to claim the most valuable player of the season awards on the last day with another 4 goals for his team but Cian Banert didn’t quite do enough to steal the golden boot as well, missing our with just 3 goals. Still, an incredible debut season for Cian sees him crowned as MVP!
