MAN DEM CHAMPIONS OF AYLESBURY

We rounded of our excellent season of 6 a side at Aylesbury Vale Academy last night with Man Dem crowned as our champions. Huge congratulations to them on racking up 25 points, 3 clear of Zones of Relegation in 2nd. Both sides wrapped things up with a win this week, the champions winning 10 - 3 against Park the Bus while Zones took a points win as Shane Schlong were missing. Who Ate The Pies won 5 - 0 against Multiple Scoregasms and Law Abiding Sigurdssons took a point away from their game with Overweight FC after a thrilling 2 - 2 draw. 

3 players from Man Dem head up the golden boot list with Jeanmal Prosper taking home the award this season with 12 goals. I want to make sure that all goals are registered to a player next season so will be asking the captains each week to send me their scorers so we can make sure the awards are definitely going to the right people. 

I've mentioned it already to all the teams that we are changing the format of this league now so we will have 2 divisions of 6 and 12 teams for the new campaign, details of the new fixtures will go out soon but we do have a weeks break now as we don't run leagues on Bank Holidays so we will be back and ready to go with the new season on Monday 5th September which is really exciting and I hope everyone will be ready.

Congrats again to our winners Man Dem, enjoy the week off everyone and hopefully we get some bank holiday sunshine. Can't wait to get going with the new, improved league in a few weeks.
