It would take something pretty dramatic to deny Numero Uno the Monday Night title in Aylesbury after a 2 - 2 draw with 2nd placed Zones of Relegation left them 2 points ahead with one game to play. There would need to be a 10 goal swing on the final night for Zones to take the trophy home at the end of what has been an excellent season of 6 a side at Aylesbury Vale Academy. Keep It Lemon and Leavemyassalona continue to battle it out for 3rd place as they both won last night with both still able to break into the top two and also both able to be relegated after next weeks final round of matches, what a season it has been here in the premier division. Park the Bus will go down and will look forward to some more competitive games next season. They will be replaced by Tesco Finest who have wrapped up the Division One Title with a brilliant 6 - 2 win over Shane Schlong. The Schlongs can still go up but need a better result than Overweight FC manage next week as their 2 - 1 win over Fingus Fiddlers puts them level on 12 points. All to play for next week. Matip took a 5 - 0 win with Multiple Scoregams unable to field a side this week.
Thanks to Wes and our newest member of the ref team James who did a great job for us, we look forward to the season finale next week before kicking off a brand new campaign on Monday 20th February.
