WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE WARWICK TUESDAY LEAGUE 19TH FEB

Once again another good evening of 6aside football at our Warwick league with all teams in attendance apart from Show Me The Mane and Wiernot Athletic. Show Me The Mane have already confirmed that they will be back as normal for this Tuesday`s fixtures and we are in the process of contacting Wiernot Athletic to confirm the same.

The premier division saw Murder On Zidanes Floor show their worth having already secured the title as they ran out 5-2 victors over Cricketers this week.

The battle for second goes in to the final round of fixtures as Gentlemen Of Warwick and Netsix & Chill both recorded victories this week and overtook AC Cricketers in the race. However, only one point separates the 3 teams so all is to play for in the final week of the current season.

Creative Minds secured the division one title this week as they were victorious in their match against Qarabag Of Love by a 4-1 scoreline. Their nearest rivals Liberal Club gave up the race as they were defeated 2-1 by third placed Generic Football Team Name. However, its too little too late for Generic Football Team name to pick up any accolades as Liberal Club are too far ahead as we go in to the final round of fixtures for the current season.
