Gosport Wednesday 6 a side end of season!

With the conclusion of the 10th and final week of the Gosport Wednesday 6 A Side Football League, we have been treated to a riveting display of athleticism and team spirit. The league, divided into Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, witnessed teams battling it out in high-octane matches, marking a fantastic end to the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Athletico Flacid and The Gentlemen displayed an impressive offensive strategy, with the game concluding in The Gentlemen's favour with a thrilling score of 8-7. Titchfield FC demonstrated their dominance over Pad Piece FC in a 9-2 victory. Meanwhile, Lucky 7 secured a decisive 4-1 victory against Murder On Zidanes Floor. The star of the Premier League was undoubtedly Harley Austen of The Gentlemen, who topped the scorers' chart with four successful goals which all gave him the Premier League Golden Boot award with 13 this season. Congratulations to The Gentlemen who are crowned champions!

DIVISION ONE

Moving on to Division 1, Brune Parkians outclassed Haven't Jota Clue with a final score of 10-4, while Chairman Supernova suffered a crushing defeat against Fish Fingers FC, ending with a 7-1 scoreline. Josh Murphy of Brune Parkians emerged as the top scorer in Division 1 this week, bagging four goals to his name. Congratulations to Backstreet Moyes on lifting the title and to our Div 1 Golden Boot winner Leo King of Moyes with 18 goals.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Bayern Neverlosen secured a 3-1 victory against Spitroast FC. With two teams not in attendance this week it was the only league game in Div 2. Congratulations to Suck Umtities who lifted the Div 2 title and well done to our Golden Boot winner Ethan Foster of Umtities who scored 13 goals this season.

Here's a round up of the title winners. The Gentlemen led the Premier League with a total of 18 points and 9 wins. The Backstreet Moyes emerged victorious in Division 1, securing 19 points and 9 wins. Meanwhile, Suck Umtities won Division 2 with a total of 17 points and 7 wins.

In conclusion, the Gosport Wednesday 6 A Side Football League displayed a thrilling season of football, with teams showcasing their talent and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the winners and top scorers for setting the pitch ablaze with their performances. As the season draws to a close, we eagerly anticipate the return of the league next season.
