Gosport Wednesday 6 a side news end of season!

In the final week of the Gosport Wednesday 6 a side Football League, the thrilling matches proved to be a showcase of exceptional skill, strategy and team spirit. The much-anticipated games of Premier League and Division 1 dramatically unfolded under the floodlights.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, the match between Jewventus and Reform AFC ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. However, the spotlight was stolen by Baines on Toast who defeated Brune Parkians with a staggering 10-2 victory. Their unstoppable force was led by Harry Draper, who topped the Premier League division by scoring a total of six goals. His outstanding performance helped Baines on Toast clinch the Premier League title with a total of 26 points and 13 wins with Draper taking the Golden Boot award. 

In other games Murder On Zidane's Floor sealed the runners up spot with a 7-0 win against Chairman Supernova while Titchfield edged a close game with The Gentleman 4-3.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Van Brockhurst exhibited an exceptional performance by overpowering Queens Park Strangers 7-1. Their star player, Kareem Elbaloula, came through for the team by scoring three goals, making him the top scorer in the Division 1 and the Golden Boot winner. This victory helped Van Brockhurst to secure the Division 1 title with a total of 21 points and nine wins.

Division 1 also saw an action-packed match between Fish Fingers FC and Bowen Arrows, which ended in Bowen Arrows favour with a 5-4 win to see Fish Fingers miss out on promotion on goal difference. Lucky 7 snuck into second spot after a 2-2 draw with Snatit gave them the point they needed. The other game saw Bayern Neverlosen narrowly beat Suck Umtities 2-1.

As this exhilarating season comes to a close, we applaud the winners of the Premier League and Division 1, Baines On Toast and Van Brockhurst, respectively. The season's end also highlights the exceptional performances of top scorers, Harry Draper and Kareem Elbaloula. This season has set the bar high for the forthcoming seasons of the Gosport Wednesday 6 a side Football League.
