The Gosport Wednesday Football League is in the penultimate stage of the season, with just two more weeks to go, and the teams continue to battle it out on the pitch for the coveted championship titles in their respective divisions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Lemon Skunk United delivered a resounding victory over Van Brockhurst with a score of 7-3. The match between Murder On Zidanes Floor and Non Bibs ended in a 1-1 draw. South Coast Vikings made a powerful statement with a 4-1 triumph over Bayern Neverlosen. The top scorer in the Premier League this week was Ryan Hathaway of South Coast Vikings, who added two impressive goals to his team’s tally.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Baines On Toast emerged victorious against Fish Fingers FC with a 5-2 win. Gosham FC narrowly defeated Suck Umtities 2-1 in a thrilling match. Lizards On Tour secured a slim victory over Snatit FC, with a final score of 3-2. The match between Lucky 7 and Queens Park Strangers was a landslide event, with Lucky 7 taking home a resounding 13-1 victory. James Sawyer of Lucky 7 had an outstanding performance with a total of 6 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1 this week.

With only two weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up. Teams are vying to secure their place for the next season and bring their A-game to the pitch. The next two weeks are set to be a thrilling conclusion to an action-packed season.
