In the world of 6-a-side football, the last night marked the fifth week of the Gosport Wednesday league, with yet another round of exciting matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Snatit FC dominated their game against Bowen Arrows, ending with a phenomenal 7-0 victory. Murder on Zidanes Floor took a heavy blow as they lost 8-1 to The Backstreet Moyes. The match between For Fuchs Sake and Tom Tom FC was a closely contested one, with the latter scraping a 3-2 victory.
DIVISION ONE
As we moved into Division 1, the games were equally thrilling. The match between Lucky 7 and Fish Fingers FC ended in a 2-2 draw, demonstrating the fierce competition in this division. Solent United emerged triumphant with a 4-0 victory over Heron United, while Suck Umtities claimed a 2-0 win against Haven’t Jota Clue.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, AC Me Rollin enjoyed a comprehensive 4-0 victory against Queens Park Strangers, while Parcar FC and Vicious Villigers ended in a goalless draw. NWO showcased an impressive performance against Wiggums Worriors, taking a decisive 7-1 victory. Charlie Bond of AC Me Rollin emerged as the top scorer of Division 2, contributing 3 goals to his team's tally.
