In an exhilarating week of football, the Gosport Wednesday's 6-a-side league saw some electric performances in its sixth week of the season. As the games unfolded, we witnessed a thrilling display of skill and competition across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, an intense match between Brune Parkians and Gosport Rovers ended with Brune Parkians edging out a victory with a score of 7-6. However, the star of the match was Ben Diaper from Gosport Rovers, who shone bright by scoring four goals single-handedly and securing his spot as the top scorer in the Premier League division
DIVISION ONE.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the teams battled out fiercely. Suck Umtities dominated Bowen Arrows with a 9-2 victory, while Athletico Flacid managed to keep a clean sheet against Lucky 7 with a 2-0 win. Fish Fingers FC and Jewventus ended in a 3-3 draw. Sean Swain Howbrigg from Jewventus emerged as the top scorer in this division with an impressive hat-trick.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Bayern Neverlosen showed extraordinary prowess and claimed an overwhelming victory of 14-2 against Chairman Supernova. Haven't Jota Clue and AC Me Rollin engaged in a tough duel, where AC Me Rollin emerged victorious with a score of 5-3. In the same match, Scott Mulholland of Haven't Jota Clue put up a commendable performance, securing the top scorer position in Division 2 with two goals.
As the season progresses, the Gosport Wednesday league continues to showcase the competitive spirit and talent in local football. The teams will undoubtedly be looking to build upon their performances as they head into the next week of the season.
