The Gosport Wednesday Football League witnessed another exciting round of action yesterday, as teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out in their fifth week of the season.

In the Premier League division, The Breadrins Curse FC and Lemon Skunk United played a tightly contested match that ended in a 1-1 draw. Tekkerslovakia overpowered The Untouchaballs in a high scoring match that ended 6-3, showcasing their offensive prowess. Non-Bibs emerged victorious over South Coast Vikings with a solid 3-0 win, thanks to their top scorer, Ben Walton, who scored a hattrick. In an intense face-off, Murder On Zidanes Floor and Van Brockhurst shared the spoils with a 3-3 draw.

Over in Division 1, Baines On Toast put on an extraordinary performance, defeating Queens Park Strangers with an emphatic 5-0 victory. Snatit FC had a narrow 1-0 win against Lucky 7 in a hard-fought match. Suck Umtities managed to edge past Lizards On Tour with a 2-1 victory, keeping their hopes alive. However, the standout performance of the night came from Fish Fingers FC, who demolished Gosham FC with a whopping 7-0 win. Tom Robins of Fish Fingers FC was the star player, scoring four goals for his team.

Both divisions saw impressive performances by their top scorers. In the Premier League, Ben Walton of Non-Bibs left his mark with three goals.
