Match day report from Gosport 6 a side

After a week away it's good to be back to catch up on all the results and tables at Gosport Wednesday 6 a side. We are still having a few issues with teams self isolating although it was good to welcome a couple of teams back this week. Hopefully over the next few weeks things will get back to normal. We are in the process of trying to secure more booking time so we can continue the 24 team format through the winter. We will have an answer next week for you all.

Skertals remain top of the Premier League table after picking up a points match win. Double Pogba and Coke have unfortunately had to vacate the league so we do have a space available in the Prem. Too Many Goals FC were also away so Pique Blinders recorded a points match win too. In the other fixture new team Leave My Arcelona played well in their first match despite going down 4-2 to a strong Steaming Bats side.

In Div 1 top of the table Untouchables weren't able to make their fixture at late notice. They do however remain top of the table as Past It were also away so a 0-0 result is recorded. Does It Got Six impressed as they defeated Noodles And Chant 6-0 to move up to second spot. Louis Howes hit 5 as Damo's Dynamos ran out comfortable 13-0 winners against Smack My Klich Up.

Club Tropicana Drinks look on course for the Div 2 title as they brushed aside Diop It Like Its Hot 13-2 with captain Harry Shaw notching 4 goals in the process. Fish Fingers are up into the promotion places after a 5-1 win over The Breadrins Curse. Six Offenders aren't out of it yet either as they beat Centurion 7-0.

Only Fools and Scorers all but secured the Div 3 title as they won 5-2 against Gurnley to go 6 points clear of Win Or Booze. Win Or Booze clinched a 3-2 win over Pass Out & Dribble with Dan Aitchison scoring all three goals. Multiple Scoregasms won 5-1 against Man Tity to lift themselves into 4th, only a point adrift of the promotion places.

Thank you to all our teams. Hopefully we will start seeing less issues with players off self-isolating over the next couple of weeks, it's been a problem for many people and businesses and of course 5 and 6 a side leagues all over the country, thank you to all teams for your understanding, we are doing our best to make sure all teams get a match each week. A big thank you as usual to our match officials Benji, Kurt, Phil and Dave. See you all next week.
