New Gosport Wednesday 6 a side season kicks off!

In the thrilling world of 6 a side Football, the Gosport Wednesday league just kicked off its new season. We witnessed an exciting week 1 filled with an abundance of goals, unforgettable moments, and commendable performances by individual players.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, an exciting night of action was led by Gosport Rovers and Brune Parkians, with the latter securing a 4-2 victory. The Backstreet Moyes recorded a commanding 4-1 win over champions The Gentlemen while Murder On Zidanes Floor outscored Pad Piece FC 5-2. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Leo King from The Backstreet Moyes, who bagged an impressive 3 goals, landing the title of top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 had its share of exhilarating matches as well. Lucky 7 triumphed over Athletico Flacid 4-1, Suck Umtities recorded a 4-0 win over Bowen Arrows, while Jewventus clinched a 2-1 victory against Fish Fingers FC. Max Donellan of Suck Umtities emerged as the top scorer in the division, scoring a total of 2 goals.

DIVISION TWO

Finally, in Division 2, Bayern Neverlosen outshined Chairman Supernova 4-1, AC Me Rollin secured a 5-2 win over Haven't Jota Clue, and Snatit FC dominated against Solent United with a 4-0 scoreline. Jake Darcy of Snatit FC led the division with a total of 3 goals, earning him the top scorer title for the week.

This week's results have set an exhilarating tone for the season. We are excitedly looking forward to the next round of matches. The top scorers from each division will certainly be the ones to watch as the season continues.
