Skertals secure Prem Gospot Wednesday 6 a side title

Here's a round up of all the results from our Gosport 6 a side Wednesday league that almost didn't happen due to a shortage of refs at late notice. Big thank you to Shane and Ryan for stepping up at the last minute to join Al so the night could still go ahead.

The Premier League title is heading to Skertals as they sealed it with an impressive 9-3 win against Pique Blinders which see's them pull clear at the top of the table. Club Tropicana Drinks entered the Premier league from Div 2 and came up against a understrength Steaming Bats side with many of their players unavailable due to isolating but thank you nonetheless for getting a side together. Tropicana comfortably won the match 8-2 to go third with Harry Shaw and Matt Dougan both scoring hat-tricks to add to a brace from Jack Heath. New team Leave My Acrelona had a points match win due to the space in the Prem.

It's a two horse race now in Div 1 as The Untouchables picked up a points match win due to Noodles And Chant dropping out of the league at late notice which is a shame. Untouchables stay a point clear of Does It Got Six at the top of the table as Six won 5-1 against Damo's Dynamo's. Goals coming from Jordan Woodward 2, Matt Robinson 2 and Cam Dawson. Smack My Klich Up picked up a points match victory with Past It being away this week.

We welcomed Borussia Monchenflapjack to Div 2 as they took over Club Tropicana's place at the top of the table. In a fantastic match with Centurion they went down 8-6 as Centurion picked up only their second win of the season. Six Offenders took advantage as they closed the gap now to one point and will feel they have a real chance of lifting the trophy now. The 4-1 win over Fish Fingers puts them in a great position. The other Div 2 fixture saw Diop It Like It's Hot earn a well deserved 2-1 win over The Breadrins Curse.

Only Fools And Scorers sealed the Div 3 title as they edged a really tight game with Pass Out & Dribble 2-1 to go six points clear of Win Or Booze. Win Or Booze picked up a narrow 1-0 victory against Multiple Scoregasms while in the other match Gurnley and Man Tity both failed to attend so a 0-0 result goes in. We will be confirming with both sides what happened as Man Tity paid so very strange.
