In a riveting week 7 of the Calne Tuesday 6-a-side Football league, tensions were high as teams battled it out on the pitch. The Premier League division experienced its share of high-intensity matches, leading to remarkable goals and stand-out performances.
The Premier League saw a thrilling draw between Crystal Phallus and Ya Da Celz Avon, with both teams ending the match at a deadlock with a 2-2 scoreline. Despite the draw, Crystal Phallus's star player, William Hurst, emerged as the most valued player of the week showing a sensational performance and steering the team to hold their ground against their strong opponents.
The game between Derry Skill and Barley Athletic had the spectators on the edge of their seats as a sheer display of determination and teamwork was visible. Barley Athletic took the win with a 6-3 victory, largely accredited to their top scorer Archie Humphreys. Humphreys showcased his goal-scoring prowess by netting two remarkable goals, leading the team to a decisive win and topping the chart as the highest scorer in the Premier League division.
Another thrilling face-off in the Premier League division was between LOOSE and Kroos Control. Kroos Control managed to secure a narrow win with a 3-2 scoreline, pushing them up in the league standings.
