Calne Tuesday 6 a side news | WEEK 9

In an electrifying week of football, the Calne Tuesday 6-a-side league saw four intense matches played out in the Premier League division. As we entered week 9 of the season, the teams battled it out in the hopes of securing their places on the leaderboard.


PREMIER DIVISION

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the explosive match between Kroos Control and Crystal Phallus. In a high scoring game that had everyone on the edge of their seats, Kroos Control managed to secure a narrow victory with a final score of 7 - 5. Luis Nyman of Kroos Control put up a fantastic performance, securing his position as the top scorer in the Premier League division with a total of 5 goals to his name, well done Luis!


In the other matches, Tchoumani Kids and Binley Mega Chippy showed a great display of defensive skills, with the match ending in a 1 - 1 tie. Petey's Crew and Hardly Athletic also showcased a thrilling match, with Hardly Athletic coming out on top with a 3 - 2 win. Meanwhile, Beazer Nunez and Tractor FC clashed in a tightly contested match that ended in a 1 - 1 draw.


However, the glory of the week goes to Martyn Styles of Kroos Control, who was named the most valued player. Styles showed a remarkable display of skill and sportsmanship, leading his team to a victory and pushing them further up the league table.

You can see how close this league really is with the draws and the narrow wins, wow!  


As we move into the next week, the excitement continues to build. The teams are now refocusing and setting their sights on the next round of matches. In the Premier League division, the competition is fierce, and only time will tell who will come out on top.
