League table has familiar feel in Calne six a side

Calne Tuesday Match report

It was another great night of action in the Calne Tuesday six a side football league at Beversbrook Sports Facility. There were some great games suggesting that this season promises to be closer than ever. 

In the opening game of the night new team TMT took on Netsix and Chill knowing that only a win would be good enough. They secured it thanks to two goals from Ollie Thomas and one from Tommy Rumble. 

In the second game Fitness Box jet up their winning start to the season by beating Dads Dream Team Reborn 1-0. However, the game was much closer than many were expecting suggesting that Dads will have every chance this season. The only goal came from Adam. 

The third game saw Lads on Toure take their win first win in the league after beating fellow newcomer Dyslexia Untied 3-0. All the goals came from Tom Powell. 

Finally it was another 3-0 win in the last game of the night. This time the points went to Snorting Lisbon as they secured their second win of the season against Holo FC. Toby, Jamie and Cameron Waldron scores a goal apiece. 

Even though the season has started new teams can still sign up today. The league is currently full but new teams will join the waiting list and will be able to play as soon as a space becomes available. You can sign up on the website by following the link below.
