New season starts with Fitness Box bagging 9

Calne Tuesday Match report

It was another great night of action in the Calne Tuesday six a side football league at Beversbrook Sports Facility. There were some great games between some top sides. Along with a baptism of fire for one of the new teams. 

In the opening game of the night new team Lads on Tourè came up against Fitness Box in a mood to show that they are yet again going to be the team to beat in the league. The game finished 9-1 with the Lads consolation goal coming from captain Oli Graham. 

In the second game Fitness Box’s closest rivals once again seem to be TMT as they also got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win against Dads Dream Team Reborn. Goals came from Ollie Thomas and Alex Randall. 

In the final game of the night Jack Timberlake and Ollie ensured that Netsix and Chill made the perfect start to the new season by beating HOLO FC 3-1. 

Even though the season has started new teams can still sign up today. The league is currently full but new teams will join the waiting list and will be able to play as soon as a space becomes available. You can sign up on the website by following the link below.
