Last night, the heat of competition was palpable in the Bicester Wednesday Premier League. Week 3 of the league came with numerous surprises and astonishing performances that had everyone on the edge of their seats.
PREMIER LEAGUE
The Premier League saw some intense battles between opponents. Ashton Villa FC found Queens Park Strangers a tough nut to crack but eventually winning the game 8-3. RNO FC dominated the field against Pickled Patch with a tremendous 12-1 win. Men Behaving Chadli faced Flying Without Ings, where the latter emerged victorious with a 6-3 triumph.
Astro Snappers managed to achieve a stellar victory over Blokes with a 14-4 score. With Dylan Giddy from Astro Snappers leading the division's score chart as the top scorer. Giddy put on an exceptional performance, with a total of 6 goals to his name.
The most thrilling match of the division was undoubtedly the 11-4 victory of Finnemores Under 8s over Bog Standard Liege. Finnemores Under 8s' success can be largely attributed to Xander Cameron's astounding performance, earning him the title of the Most Valued Player for the week. Cameron's agility, coordination, and relentless drive played a significant role in leading his team to victory, making him the star player of the week.
Looking ahead, the coming weeks of the Bicester Wednesday football league promise more excitement, as teams vie not only for league dominance but also personal glory. As we continue to follow the Premier League, we look forward to more outstanding performances from these players who continually redefine the spirit of competition.
Thank you to Ben for running the evening and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. We return to action on Wednesday 8th January!
