Bicester Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 3

The Bicester Wednesday 5 a side football league brought the heat in its third week of the season, with some intense matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the esteemed Premier League, champions Ashton Villa FC showcased their offensive prowess by outscoring Men Behaving Chadli with an impressive 8-4. It was an electrifying match full of stunning goals and stellar teamwork. Both teams fought valiantly, but Ashton's dominance was clear from the start, securing their victory.

Flying Without Ings pulled off a nail-biting 3-2 victory against RNO FC in a match that kept us on edge until the final whistle. Meanwhile, in a fiercely contested game, Elmsbrook Utd managed to edge out Finnemores Under 8s with a slim victory of 8-7 to round out the Premier League action for the week.

DIVISION ONE

Moving down to Division 1, Pickled Patch delivered a masterclass in goal scoring as they defeated Queens Park Strangers 12-0 in a one-sided encounter. Their explosive performance has set an intimidating tone for the rest of the season. In another Division 1 match, Bog Standard Liege displayed their superior attacking skills, defeating Pablo Hit-the-bar 7-2.

The Bicester Wednesday League promises more exhilarating football next week as teams look to maintain their momentum or bounce back from their losses. Based on this week's performance, we can expect more thrilling matches in the coming weeks.
