Lads on Toure already had the win going into their friendly against Peg doesn’t pass. The friendly was an enjoyable encounter for both teams with several goals being scored in a competitive match. Lads on Toure are now second with maximum points. Next week they face 2 girls 1 Schlupp.
Peg Doesn’t Pass 0 v 3 Squad
Squad managed to grind out a win against a compact and well organised Peg side. Peg managed to restrict Squad to only a few opportunities but as normal Squad were clinical in front of goal. The win for Squad means they are top of the table after 3 games and are looking like early favourites. Peg are in sixth but will be looking to get into the top 3. Next week Squad take on Newark on Tour while Peg have a friendly as ScissormeTravis are unable to attend. MOM- Ewan Sweeting
Newark on Tour 2 v 2 2 Girls One Schlupp
This game was the potential highlight of the night with two good sides both going for the win. Both teams looked solid and matched each other but when opportunities came they were taken. Both sides could feel they might have nicked it but for some excellent goalkeeping from the men between the sticks for both teams. Newark are now third in the league while 2 girls are fifth. 2 girls play Lads on Toure next week with Newark on tour facing Squad. MOM- Michael Cox
FFFC 9 V 0 Danny Dyers Chocolate Harmonculus
FFFC turned on the style against Danny Dyers with a display that showcased what they could do. Everything just seemed to fit into place for them and they were ruthless in front of goal. Danny Dyers will just forget about this one and move onto next week. The win for FFFC means they move up to fourth and Danny dyers move down to ninth. A well contested game to end the night with both teams playing good football at times. It was a tight affair with no team being able to gain an edge and a point probably being a fair result.
