A great start to the new season at Bingham! New side OMFC opened their account against last seasons champions Banterlona. They gave a very good account of themselves and look like, with more experience, could well challenge for silverware. Banterlona took an early lead in the game with a sharp finish into the top corner only to be pegged back by OMFC with a flowing move just before half time. Banterlona then got a penalty which was converted well and then added a final goal in the dying seconds. A really close game came next with Peg just piping Danny Dyers by one goal. Danny Dyers took an early lead with a good left footed strike from eventual MOM Ian. Peg then equalised near enough immediately only to then concede another good strike. Peg then started to get on top in the second half and made their possession count by scoring two well worked goals to go and win the game. Finally, 2 Girls put in a solid display against Wolf Pack as they look to take their crown back. 3 very well taken goals saw 2 Girls dominate the game and also had a whole host of great chances saved by an outstanding performance from Wolf Packs keeper who got MOM. Wolf Pack did create a few opportunities which they could have done better with but good defending and keeping kept them at bay.
