Newark on Tour 5 v 0 Lads on Toure
Lads on Toure were unable to make the game so Newark got the automatic win and played a friendly against ScissormeTravis.
Squad 1 v 2 FC Banterlona
A big shock in the first competitive game of the night with bottom beating second. This was Squad's second loss in the last few weeks and with a few key players missing was always going to be a hard game. Banterlona showed tonight what they could do against the best in the league to state their claim for a medal place. They played good football from back to front and were clinical when it came to chances. MOM- Mark Smith
ScissormeTravis 5 v 4 Danny Dyers
The game of the season so far! I cant tell you who was in the lead as so many goals went flying in. It was a great game to watch with ups and downs for both teams. Both teams looked good going forward, scoring some well crafted and finished goals but at the back looked shaky. It was 4-4 going into the final couple of minutes and any team could of won it but then MATT BRYANT popped up with a late winner for he young lads. MOM- Matt Bryant
Peg Doesn't Pass 1 v 3 FFFC
FFFC knew they could put a two point gap between them and second place with squad losing. It took a while for the leaders to get going but when they did started to fire on all cylinders. Quick goals knocked the stuffing out of Peg. Peg did respond to this with a goal of their own and defended resolutely to stop the wave of attacks from FFFC and also managed to create some good opportunities of their own but couldn't get back into it. 1truesaxon 1 v 6 2 Girls One Schlupp
2 girls ended a night with a thumping win over 1truesaxon. The lads in green managed to put six past the various keepers on 1truesaxon with a couple of very neat and tidy finishes in the mix. Some individual brilliance was also on show from certain players from both sides which must also be commended. 1truesaxon did manage to score a consolation and looked lively going forward at times but just need to tighten up at the back to start moving up the league.
