Some very good games played tonight including a friendly against the top two. Disappointing that Newark on Tour did not show but thank you to the lads from Peg who gave a weeks notice they couldn't attend their fixture. In the first of the two competitive games of the night Wolf Pack put in a strong performance against Danny Dyers which saw them come away with a win and clean sheet. Playing some very good, fast-paced football at times Wolf Pack could of had more if they took their chances but it wasn't a one-sided game as Danny Dyers spurned some great opportunities with a brilliant performance in goal for Wolf Pack from Ashley. 1truesaxon got the other win in the second competitive match as they scraped past Signet and managed to hold onto the win. A fairly even first half past when Saxon scored early in the second to gain the lead. Signet then pushed for the rest of the game for the equaliser but just either couldn't find the target or was met by some great goalkeeping. In the friendly between the top 2 we saw and entertaining, end to end match with some great goals and good build up play which ended with the right result for both teams.
