Match Report- 26th September

The last games of the season were played tonight to wrap up the season. Both Peg Doesn't Pass and Cescoffenders  could not attend their fixtures so their opponents played a friendly against each other.

Cooking with Ethan 1 v 3 Red Bull Gives You Ings

This game was played early in the season when the remaining fixtures got cancelled due to rain. Red Bull picked up the win against the eventual champions. MOM- Jack Vallance

Lads on Toure 4 v 0 ScissormeTravis

Lads on Toure put out a solid performance against the young lads from ScissormeTravis which saw them get the win in a comfortable style. Nice passing through the pitch gave them the edge as they managed to create numerous chances and convert 4 of them. ScissormeTravis did try and come back into the game but just couldn't get a foot hold to press on from. MOM- Tom Staples

Danny Dyers Chocolate Harmonculus 5 v 0 Peg Doesn't Pass

Cescoffenders 0 v 5 FFFC

With Peg unable to make their fixture and Cescoffenders dropping out of the league, Danny Dyers and FFFC both received automatic wins. However, they did play each other in a friendly which was a good match to watch. FFFC won the friendly 4-1.

Newark on Tour 2 v 4 1truesaxon

The last game of the night was a tight affair between two very well matched sides. Both teams had opportunities to score with both keepers doing well to keep the score down. Newark on Tour took an early lead but 1truesaxon then turned it up a gear and scored 4 second half goals. Newark on Tour did put up a bit of a fight back but in the end it just wasn't enough.
