ScissorMeTravis 3 v 6 FC Banterlona- MOM: Lewis Thompson
Banterlona with another win against the young lads from ScissormeTravis. ScissormeTravis gave a very good account of themselves in this one against a much more experienced and stronger opposition. They created several good chances which they managed to convert 3 but struggled against the attacking power of Banterlona. Banterlona played attractive football and there know how helped them gain the victory and the points. Credit to Dean who managed to play with a bloody nose after being hit with the ball just before kick-off.
Points Match 0 v 5 2 Girls One Schlupp
The points match this week was for leaders 2 Girls so they had the points but played a friendly against Danny Dyers.

Peg were unable to attend but did let me know in advance so Danny Dyers played 2 Girls One Schlupp in a friendly.
Newark on Tour 0 v 3 FFFC- MOM: Josh Feehily
FFFC knew nothing but a win would do as it would hand 2 Girls One Schlupp the title. A win is what they got as they managed to grind out the result against the new look Newark. FFFC weren’t there usual free flowing selves but it’s a sign of a good team to win when not playing well. Newark played the best they have in a long while with some of the new players taking the game to FFFC which pieces of individual brilliance which called the FFFC keeper into action to pull off a string of superb saves.
1truesaxon 2 v 1 Lads on Toure- MOM: Michael Hewitt
A really good win for 1truesaxon as they beat the very present and consistent Lads on Toure. The win has them in the top half of the table and they have been a surprise package this season going unnoticed for much of the season. There high work rate along with some good moves meant they were able to score two goals against Lads on Toure. Lads on Toure did get one back and pressed hard for the equaliser but 1truesaxon stood firm and held on for the win.
