Genk 3 - 0 Now Then
Genk have picked up where they left off in the Bingham League, tonight they triumphed in what was a really entertaining fixture. Now Then certainly played their part in making it a great game, but were unable to prevent Genk from claiming the victory and making it two wins from two. MOM - Jamie Perry (Genk).
Car Colston Pissheads 5 - 0 Lads On Toure
Early stages, but this win keeps Car Colston Pissheads at the top of the table. They were in top form again tonight against a Lads On Toure side who were unable to replicate the brilliant performance they gave last week. Seventeen goals from their first two games make Car Colston worthy league leaders. MOM - Ben Castell (Car Colston Pissheads).
GFC 1 - 0 Peg Doesn't Pass
This was a really close game, with both sides having multiple chances. It looked like a single goal would be enough to claim victory for either side and so it transpired with GFC snatching the winner. This great game was unfortunately overshadowed by some ugly scenes at the final whistle - fortunately these are extremely rare but are unwelcome when they happen.
Squad 0 - 0 Red Bull Gives You Ings
This was anything but a bore draw as both sides took their first point of the season. A herculean effort from Red Bull Gives You Ings as they played with only five players, they were also saved by the frame of the goal as the crossbar prevented Squad from taking maximum points. MOM - Nick Alexander (Red Bull Gives You Ings).
