A great fixture to start off the evening, both side have been previous recipients of silverware so we were expecting a high quality encounter - and weren't disappointed. A real high tempo affair with some breathtaking football, Car Colston edged it and moved themselves straight into third place. MOM - Tom Reacher (Car Colston Pissheads).

Squad 3 - 1TrueSaxon

A heartbreaking finish to the game for 1TrueSaxon, with the game delicately poised at 1-1 going into the final couple of minutes Squad pounced twice to claim the win and go top in the process. A really enjoyable game between these close friends/rivals. MOM - Daniel Brown (Squad).

Peg Doesn't Pass 0 - 0 GFC

Far from a bore-draw as we watched the reigning champions begin their title defence. It was only heroics from both goalkeepers that prevented the deadlock being broken, both pulling off a string of remarkable saves. This was Peg Doesn't Pass's first point and first clean sheet since joining the league. MOM - Ethan Spinks (GFC).

Neville Wears Prada 2 - 0 Lads On Toure

Neville Wears Prada put the disappointment of missing out on medals last season by opening this season with a win. It was far from a routine victory as Lads On Toure provided a constant threat, again a superb goalkeeping performance prevented them from getting on the scoreboard.
