It was match day 10 down at Bridgemary School at our Gosport Monday 6 a side league, all teams were in attendance as we entered the second half of the season.
Baines On Toast continue to hold off the chasing pack as they picked up an important win over one of their nearest challengers, a 3-1 victory over Bin FC, captain Christian Taylor with a brace. That put 4 points between the two sides however there are 3 other teams breathing down their necks still. Second place Fred West Ham had a comfortable night winning 10-1 against a depleted Partey Drugs side, the win gives them the best goal difference in the league which could become important come the end of the season. Pass Out & Dribble also improved their goal difference with a 9-1 win over 126P while 4th place Rafacakes who are also on the same number of points edged past Hotel Thiago 2-1. The other game saw Sam Tew and Mitch score hat-tricks as No Lungs won 6-4 at Brexit Ballers.
Thank you to all our teams and to Dave and his match officials. Good luck on match day 11 next week.
