Gosport Monday 7 a side end of the season!

In the final week of the thrilling Gosport Monday Football League, the teams left no stone unturned to secure their respective positions. Both Division 1 and Division 2 witnessed fierce competition, resulting in an electrifying culmination to a highly competitive season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Lost Rovers took the crown with an impressive total of 20 points, marking their dominance with 10 wins throughout the season. Their final match against Bowsers Boys ended in an 8-1 victory as they completed a the season with an impressive 100% record. Exeter Gently finished the season with a 3-1 win over Blue Star Pompey to take the runners up spot while the other game saw Queens Park Strangers win 4-0 away at Bowsers Boys.

DIVISION TWO

Lost Rovers were not the only one celebrating yesterday evening. In Division 2, Lads On Toure claimed top spot with a total of 16 points and 8 wins. Their final game against Borussia Teeth resulted in a 4-2 win, cementing their place at the top of Division 2.

Jamie Ritchie netted 3 goals for his team Real Sosobad as they ended the season as runners up, sealing promotion back to the top flight, just missing out on the title by a point as they beat Athletico Moretti 3-1. Haven't Jota Clue wrapped up a third place finish with a 5-2 win at Working Glass On Grass to complete our round up.

This year's league has been a testament to the talent and competitive spirit of each team. With the season coming to a close, we are already eagerly waiting for the next season of the Gosport Monday Football League. The teams, meanwhile, can look back at a season filled with exceptional play, and look ahead to the new challenges that await them in the next season.
