Gosport Monday 7 a side news - match day 5

In the exhilarating week 5 of the Gosport Monday 7-a-side Football league, teams in Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out on the pitch, showing off their football prowess.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Lost Rovers came out on top against League 1 Crew with a solid 4-1 victory. Showcasing a brilliant performance, the Rovers took control of the game and dominated the game. On the other hand, Real Sosobad narrowly edged out Jewventus with a 2-1 win. The credit for this win goes to the top scorer of the division, Rob Diprose, who showed his impeccable form and scored both goals for Real Sosobad. His energetic performance surely made a difference in the match and secured the top scorer's crown for him this week.

DIVISION TWO

Meanwhile, in Division 2, there were some high-scoring games which kept us on the edge of our seats. Borussia Teeth defeated Haven't Jota Clue with an impressive 7-1 victory. In another match, Athletico Moretti took a hit, losing 7-2 to leaders Bowsers Boys. Working Class On Grass were defeated 7-1 by Blue Star Pompey in the other game. The highlight of the division was the sensational play by Rammon Oiruria who scored a hat trick for Blue Star Pompey, earning the top scorer spot in Division 2.

As the league continues, teams are gearing up for the upcoming matches. With the top scorers, Diprose and Oiruria setting the bar high, it will be interesting to see who will rise to the challenge in the coming weeks. One thing is for sure, the Gosport Monday 7-a-side Football league is turning out to be a gripping tournament.
