Gosport Monday 7 a side news - match day 6

The Gosport Monday 7-a-side Football league witnessed a series of gripping matches on its sixth week as teams from Division 1 and Division 2 battled fiercely for the points.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Exeter Gently put up a valiant effort but succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against the energetic Bowsers Boys. League 1 Crew, showcasing true grit and determination, emerged with a 3-1 triumph over Lost Rovers to really open up the title race. The clash between Real Sosobad and Netsix And Chill FC ended with the latter clinching a 3-1 victory. Netsix and Chill FC's incredible performance can be credited to their top scorer, Barry Snelling, who scored 2 goals to enhance his team’s tally.

DIVISION TWO

The action was equally intense in Division 2. In a tight game, Jewventus managed to edge past Haven't Jota Clue with a 3-2 win. We were treated to a goal-fest as Gangstas Allardyce outscored Athletico Moretti 5-2. Reece Held, the top scorer for Gangstas Allardyce, proved instrumental in their success, contributing 2 goals to the game. OnlyFouls struggled against the formidable Blue Star Pompey, who dominated the pitch and ended the match with a resounding 4-0 win.

This week’s matches have certainly left a lasting impression on us all. With top scorers Barry Snelling and Reece Held leading their respective divisions, there’s much to look forward to in the forthcoming weeks. As the teams continue to jostle for position, we can expect more thrilling football in the weeks to come in the Gosport Monday Football League.
