Gosport Monday 7 a side news - match day 7

In an exhilarating week 7 of Gosport Monday's 7-a-side football league concluded with fervour last night. We were riveted as both Division 1 and Division 2 witnessed high-intensity matches and exceptional individual performances.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Real Sosobad were outplayed by Exeter Gently, who won with a score of 3-1. The clash between League 1 Crew and new team The Arc ended in a draw, with both teams scoring 2 goals. The star of this division was the unyielding James Bradbury from The Arc, who was able to contribute a goal for his team.

DIVISION TWO

The competition in Division 2 was equally intense. Haven't Jota Clue exceeded expectations by beating Working Class On Grass 4-1. In a closely fought match, Blue Star Pompey managed to edge out Athletico Moretti with a scoreline of 1-0. Borussia Teeth emerged victorious against Bowsers Boys by a narrow margin of 2-1 to leapfrog them to the top of the table.

The completion of week 7 marks a pivotal point in the season and the competition is heating up in both divisions. The teams are already preparing for their next round of matches on the 6th Jan after the Xmas break. As always, the Gosport Monday League continues to serve as an electrifying showcase of local football talent.

Thank you to Kiefer for running the evening and to all of our refs and players. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
