It was another excellent night of football in the Monday 6 a side Bridgend College league with all teams in attendance as expected.
The pick of the games in the Premier Division was last season's winners West House FC against current top of the league and previous winners
The Champions
The game started very slow and although The Champions had plenty of possession
they struggled to make the breakthrough
After taking the lead the goals came thick and fast for The Champions from Ethan and Ioan who eventually came out on top with a 5-0 win and are still top of
the league on goal difference.
It was nice to see baby Sutton back playing after his few months on a
sabbatical after being dumped by his girlfriend. At least he was scoring on the pitch if not at home.
This title could go down to the last game of the season.
In the first Division we welcomed a new team ChainFam Fc who I bet wished they
were still locked up after being on the end of a 9-3 loss. Again Ioan magic
daps Clatworthy was on fire causing havoc against the new side.
In fact they called him the jailer at the end as he had them all locked up by the end of the game.
If bottom division there were two drawn games but Dais under 8’s mothers are
certainly not well knowing they lost 4-2 to Isyourmotherwell RFC
The rugby boys are putting a final sprint together for one of the top 2
promotion places.
if the do get promotion it’s not their mother’s that won’t be well, these lads
will drink Nantymoel dry, there could be a few sore heads!
Another league that could go down to the wire
