FOOTBALL FRENZY: PENCOED MONDAY LEAGUE WEEK 2 ROUNDUP
Week 2 of the Pencoed Monday Football League had fans at the edge of their seats as teams battled it out for supremacy.
In the Premier League division, both Bridge United and Pandas United emerged victorious, with score lines of 2-1 and 4-3 against Spud FC and Joga Bonito respectively. However, the highlight of the night was the Black Chicken Vets' dominant performance against Family Outings, securing an impressive 8-2 victory.
Division 1 also saw a fair share of action with Vale Originals eking out a 2-1 win over Daddys Little Soldiers. Enter Shitake silenced Dolly Blues with a 2-0 victory, while Rustler Burgers scraped a 3-2 win against Inter Yanan. Six Offenders claimed the top spot in this division with a 4-0 thrashing of Tondu Vets.
In Division 2, the Dad Bod Squad and Jewventus displayed their offensive prowess, defeating Zizedines Zebabs and Murder On Zidanes Floor by 5-0 and 3-1 respectively. However, VFL BOCHUM ULTRAS stole the show with a stellar 7-1 victory over Taxi Inflation.
Division 3 also witnessed a lot of excitement. Poclaroc FC and The Goonies took home the wins with scores of 6-5 and 3-1 against Young Offenders and Bomb Squad respectively. In an awe-inspiring performance, Inter Yamami blanked Guy Fives FC 5-0.
Unfortunately, the top scorers for each division have not been disclosed. As fans, we can only hope that the coming weeks will see more of the same thrilling action we've come to expect from the Pencoed Monday Football League.
