The Chesterfield Sunday Football league charged into its 15th week yesterday featuring some thrilling matchups in all three divisions - Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.
Over in Division 1, Newbold FC emerged victorious over Bramersall, with a final score of 5-3. The standout performer for Newbold FC was their striker who found the back of the net twice. The second match in Division 1 saw Athletico Biffin edge out Whingerworth 2-1 in a closely contested match.
Moving on to Division 2, Panicinargos hammered Dyslexia United with an impressive 5-1 win, with their center forward bagging a hat-trick, making him the standout scorer of the division for the week. Hybrid Hove Albion managed to secure a 2-0 victory against The Jerry Hat-Tricks. While IMX FC stormed past Xavi Dodgers with a 6-0 thrashing. Lastly, Edgington Boys FC eked out a win, 3-2, against “Norfolk & Good”.
In Division 3, Parking The Bus FC fell short against Matip Stinks, suffering a heavy 6-0 loss. Spiral Slugs managed a narrow victory against Somersall All Stars with a 4-3 win, and Techy Tandoori edged past Walking Football FC, 2-1. The final match of the division saw Brexit Birdholme secure a 2-1 victory over Brexit Or Exit. The top scorer in Division 3 was Matip Stinks' forward who netted an impressive four goals.
