Chesterfield Sunday's Premier football league kicked off this week with action-packed matches across all three divisions. In the first week of the season, the teams took to the field to make their mark and set the pace for the upcoming weeks.

In Division 1, the match between 5 Guys 1 Ball and Bramersall ended with a thrilling 5-3 victory for Bramersall. Despite a strong performance from 5 Guys 1 Ball, they couldn't withstand Bramersall's offensive prowess. Another exciting match saw IMX FC scrape past Athletico Biffin 1-0, in what turned out to be a defensive masterclass. Meanwhile, Newbold FC made a strong start to the season, beating Matip Is In 2-0.

Division 2 witnessed some intense battles with Hybrid Hove Albion emerging victorious over Dyslexia United with a scoreline of 3-1. The match between Edgington Boys FC and Matip Stinks ended in a close 2-1 victory for Matip Stinks, whereas KAVs Essentials pulled off a 1-0 triumph over The Jerry Hat-Tricks.

In Division 3, Brexit Birdholme set the bar high with a 2-0 victory over Chezzy Duds. The battle between Walking Football FC and Committing Grimes was tightly contested, with Committing Grimes edging out a 1-0 win. Spiral Slugs stole the show with a 4-1 victory over Park Road FC. The match between Somersall All Stars and Parking The Bus Fc was a high scoring game ending with a 5-3 victory for Parking The Bus Fc.
