The Chesterfield Sunday 6-a-side football league’s week 3 saw a flurry of action with thrilling encounters cutting across Divisions 1, 2, and 3.

In Division 1, the spotlight was on Brampton Victoria FC, who put on an impressive performance, thrashing Athletico Biffin 6-1. This victory puts them at the top of the division, signaling a strong commitment to maintaining their winning streak. LADZIO also managed to secure a 5-3 victory over Whingerworth, while 5 Guys 1 Ball bagged a 2-0 win against Newbold FC. Meanwhile, Bramersall managed to edge out IMX FC in a tightly contested 3-2 match.

Division 2 proved to be just as exciting as Techy Tandoori ran riot over Intermigran FC, posting an impressive 8-1 victory. Adding to the high-scoring matches of the night, Hardly Athletic pulled off a close 3-2 win over The Jerry Hat-Tricks, while Edgington Boys FC held their ground to secure a 2-0 win against Dyslexia United. Last but not least, Hybrid Hove Albion beat Matip Stinks 3-0.

In Division 3, the standout team was “Norfolk & Good” who cruised to a 3-0 win against Somersall All Stars. Committing Grimes also registered a 3-0 victory over Brexit Birdholme while Nikitas In Parris defeated Chezzy Duds by the same margin. Meanwhile, Park Road FC managed to overcome Walking Football FC with a 3-1 win, and Parking The Bus FC narrowly defeated Spiral Slugs 2-1.

The top scorers for this week were Brampton Victoria FC in Division 1, Techy Tandoori in Division 2, and “Norfolk & Good”, Committing Grimes, and Nikitas In Parris in Division 3, all scoring three goals each.
