Chesterfield Sunday League: Week 3 Shakes Up the Standings

The Chesterfield Sunday 6-a-side Football League continued with its third week of thrilling action, as teams from Divisions 1 to 5 battled it out on the pitch. Fans were treated to a feast of goals, with some teams moving up in the rankings while others were sent to lick their wounds.

In Division 1, Matip Is In delivered a stunning performance, securing a 7-3 victory over Boca Seniors. A strong showing by Ladzio, defeating Manjdog Men 4-1, further intensified the competition in the division.

Division 2 saw its share of action, with Hybrid Hove Albion falling 2-4 to Shamima Bagsome. Hawk Tuah FC scored a fine win over Vaffanculo FC, ending at 4-2. The dominant match of the night belonged to DFM FC, who trounced Edgington Boys FC with a staggering 8-0 result.

In Division 3, The Jerry Hat-Tricks triumphed over AC MIGRAN with a score of 4-2, while Paralympiacos and Win Or Learn ended in a thrilling 5-5 draw. Intermigran FC also had a good night, securing a 4-1 win against CarrVale FC.

Division 4 was fraught with tension as every goal mattered. Matip Stinks narrowly lost out to Borussia Monchenflapjack in a 4-5 scoreline. Jaipur Jockeys triumphed over Park Road Fc, 4-1, and Kante Fit My Willian delivered a crushing 6-0 defeat to FC Copenbadly.

Last but certainly not least, Division 5 saw Parking The Bus FC lose out to Puyol Pants Down, 1-2. Dyslexia United also suffered a 1-2 defeat against Committing Grimes.

Top scorers for the divisions were, in order, Matip Is In for Division 1, DFM FC for Division 2, The Jerry Hat-Tricks for Division 3, Kante Fit My Willian for Division 4, and Puyol Pants Down for Division 5. Their performances this week have set the bar high, and we eagerly anticipate the next round of matches.
