Weekly News from Sunday 19th February

Overall we had a terrific night of football on Sunday, as all teams were in attendance for their matches. However we were extremely disappointed to hear of an incident in the match involving Ladzio.

Mark Pollard of Ladzio received a straight red card for a dangerous tackle, and has also received a £20 fine and two week ban. Meanwhile team mate Kurt Drury has received a £100 fine and permanent ban for headbutting an opponent. 

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.

In much more positive news, we are delighted to welcome new side The Gooses into the league. They get started against Norfolk And Chance in their first match, and we would like to wish them the best of luck for the season ahead.
