Week 4 of Burntwood Monday Football League Sees Impressive Performances! The early pace teams are trying to set off strongly - can they keep it going though?

Burntwood Monday Football League, one of the most anticipated 6-a-side football leagues in the region, returned last night for its thrilling Week 4 matches. The league, consisting of three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - witnessed some remarkable performances from the participating teams.

In the Premier League, Pete Always Scores Bangers showcased their attacking prowess with an emphatic 4-1 victory over BELT FC. Pete Always Scores Bangers' relentless offense was led by their top scorer, who netted four goals in the match - Pete (of course). Boca Seniors also put on an impressive display of skill, overpowering Leave Me Arcelona in a 7-2 triumph, where their attacking line found the back of the net on seven occasions. An emphatic start to the season for this virgin team in the Premier League!

Compsta Marp proved their mettle with a confident 4-1 victory over Burntwood FC, thanks to their sharpshooter Sunday League star who bagged a hat-trick during the match. Reining Champions, Burntwood FC never saw this coming! Meanwhile, The Gradient outperformed Ray Priests in a thrilling 6-2 encounter, where their lethal attacking duo showcased their goal-scoring abilities. The CTL Elite and Second 2 None settled for a 1-1 draw, highlighting the evenly matched skills of both teams.

In Division 1, Harriers secured a slender 1-0 win over 2 Goals 1 Cup, FC Prodigies also claimed a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Chasetown Seniors, displaying their defensive resilience throughout the match. However, Soup King FC truly dominated their game against Sheffield Monday, notching an impressive 7-1 victory, with their prolific striker Gary contributing four goals to the triumph!

Division 2 witnessed some explosive encounters as well. With a slight improvisation of a large goal due to damage to our usual 6v6 goal. Still a fair contest throughout of course, just with a unique spinout! 

Fat Knacker And Co prevailed over Big Nobbs with a convincing 3-0 win, courtesy of their sharp attacker. Patty Freaks FC emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 scoreline against Not In Ya Mums Forest, showing their determination to secure three points. The match between MONDAY WARRIORS and Kepa Clean Sheet saw Kepa Clean Sheet excel with a comprehensive 6-1 victory. WIP FC and Six Offenders shared the spoils in a tense 1-1 draw, while Unathletico Madrid displayed their dominance by routing The Wastemen 8-0, their biggest result to date and wow - by some margin too!

Burntwood Monday Football League continues to provide thrilling football action every week. With each team fighting tooth and nail for supremacy, the competition promises to deliver more exciting moments in the weeks to come.
