Burntwood Monday Football League: Week 5 Unveils Thrilling Matches and Outstanding Performances

Burntwood, [17th July] - The Burntwood Monday Football League continued its exciting journey into week 5, showcasing a series of captivating matches across its three divisions: Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. With teams battling it out on the pitch, late-night fans were treated to a thrilling evening of football action.

In the Premier League, BELT FC demonstrated their dominance with an impressive 8-2 victory over Second 2 None. The top scorers for this division were on fire, with BELT FC's attacking prowess on full display. BELT are now a solid Premier League side thankfully! Meanwhile, Ray Priests secured a hard-fought 4-2 win against The CTL Elite, showcasing their skills and determination on the field.

 Compsta Marp narrowly edged out The Gradient with a 3-2 victory, highlighting their ability to seize crucial opportunities. It also means that in their first 2 games, they've beaten last seasons champs and runners up - outstanding! In other news, Boca Seniors fought valiantly, but Burntwood FC emerged victorious with a 6-3 scoreline. Lastly, Leave Me Arcelona secured a 4-2 win over Pete Always Scores Bangers in a high-octane encounter.

In Division 1, Sheffield Monday maintained their winning streak with a 2-0 victory over 2 Goals 1 Cup, further solidifying their position at the top. Soup King FC continued their impressive form with a convincing 3-1 win against Norfolkinchance. FC Prodigies proved their mettle with a resounding 5-1 victory over Boat Inn Rovers.

Division 2 contained some incredible performances, with Fat Knacker And Co delivering a stunning 6-0 victory over The Wastemen. Six Offenders demonstrated their attacking prowess with a convincing 4-1 win against Unathletico Madrid, pinning them to the bottom. WIP FC displayed their defensive capabilities, securing a clean sheet with a 2-0 victory over Kepa Clean Sheet. Patty Freaks FC put on a goal-scoring masterclass, triumphing with a 7-1 win over MONDAY WARRIORS - a real upset for them!
